The Consultation and Referral Service of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center is a service offered to those concerned about their mental health or that of family or friends. Calls are also welcome from professionals seeking consultation and/or assistance in making a referral. Treatment and services are available for children, adolescents and adults.
A message left by a caller on the private voice-mail line will be answered promptly by a CPC mental health professional who can assist the caller in determining the service needed. If indicated, a referral will be made to a person known to possess the training and skills necessary to provide the needed service.
Members of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center provide services in private offices located throughout the greater Cleveland area. Fees and other arrangements are made directly with the therapist providing the service. Members of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center are counselors, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists with additional training in psychoanalytic therapy.
Available mental health services include consultation, assessment, treatment and referral. Treatment services range from medication management to intensive dynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Some members of the Center are fluent in languages other than English including Spanish, Hebrew, German, Russian, Polish and French.
If the caller’s question cannot be addressed by a member of the Center, a referral will be made to a place where the needed service can be obtained.
The Consultation and Referral Service works with community agencies providing clinical services and education. Please call 216-229-5959 ext. 123 to leave a confidential voice message for the psychoanalyst on call. The Consultation and Referral Service does not provide 24-hour, emergency call. In case of a psychiatric emergency, you should go to your nearest emergency room.
