Plot: Dr Don Shirley is a world-class African-American pianist,
who is about to embark on a concert tour in the Deep South
in 1962. In need of a driver and protection, Shirley recruits
Tony Lip, a tough-talking bouncer from an Italian-American
neighborhood in the Bronx. Despite their differences, the
two men soon develop an unexpected bond while
confronting racism and danger in an era of segregation.

Discussion will be led by Joanne Naegele, M.A., LPCC-S. Please check movie listings for locations film is being shown.
Sunday discussion the group will gather on the FOURTH Sunday evening of the months to come to discuss the film. Please check dates on our website as some months, due to conflicts, the discussion date changes.

Discussion will be held at the Center’s offices in the Heights Medical Building at 2460 Fairmount Boulevard, Suite 312, Cleveland Heights (Cedar-Fairmount). There will be someone at the building door between 7:15—7:45 p.m.
